Required as needed Penmac Staffing is seeking dependable candidates for a Fiberglass Grinder position with a manufacturing client. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, take pride in producing quality products, and thrive in a fast-paced production environment.

Requirements for the Fiberglass GrinderHigh school diploma or GED preferredPrevious manufacturing, production, fiberglass, or industrial experience is helpful but not requiredAbility to read and follow work orders, instructions, and measurementsBasic math skillsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds occasionallyAbility to stand for extended periods throughout the shiftMust be willing to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)Fiberglass Grinder ResponsibilitiesRemove fiberglass parts from molds and move them to designated work areasGrind, trim, drill, and cut fiberglass components using hand, power, and pneumatic toolsFollow work orders, prints, templates, and engineering specificationsApply Polycore materials as requiredPerform rework and repairs when needed to meet quality standardsMaintain a clean and organized work areaComplete filter log documentation for dust collection equipmentFollow all safety procedures and quality requirementsWork efficiently to meet production schedules and daily goalsPerform other duties as assignedPhysical RequirementsFrequently lift and carry 10 to 20 poundsOccasionally lift and carry up to 50 poundsFrequent use of both hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and tool operationOccasional bending, kneeling, squatting, and reachingWork EnvironmentThis Fiberglass Grinder position works in a manufacturing environment with exposure to fiberglass dust and industrial noise. Safety glasses are required throughout the facility. Air-supplied hoods and hearing protection are required during grinding and cutting operations. Annual pulmonary function testing and respirator fit testing are required for employees using respiratory protection.
