Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Cabinet Finisher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying finishes to cabinetry, ensuring a high-quality and polished appearance. This role involves tasks such as wood staining and painting, contributing to the overall aesthetic and durability of our custom cabinetry products. The ideal candidate will have experience in finishing techniques, attention to detail, and a commitment to craftsmanship. Duties Prepare cabinet surfaces for finishing by sanding, cleaning, and masking as needed. Apply wood stain to enhance the natural beauty of the wood grain, ensuring even coverage and color consistency. Paint cabinets with appropriate techniques to achieve smooth, professional finishes. Inspect finished work for quality, color accuracy, and adherence to specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper handling and disposal of finishing materials. Follow safety protocols related to the use of stains, paints, and other finishing products. Collaborate with carpenters and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Skills Proven experience in wood staining and painting within cabinetry or furniture finishing. Strong attention to detail with an eye for color matching and surface quality. Knowledge of finishing products, tools, and techniques used in cabinet finishing. Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship. Good communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
