This individual will be a key player in fabrication operations at our Harahan, LA location. Applicants should be self-starters, able to complete tasks with little direct supervision. Responsibilities:

Intake new items for processing. Clean and prepare welded equipment for chemical treatment. Apply chemical treatment to welded equipment in accordance with procedures and safety guidelines. Identify HOT, inner company, and service orders and prioritize work accordingly. Inspect work to ensure welds are clean and quality meets Laitram standards. Move completed work to the correct next step in the production process.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to follow a work schedule and meet due dates. Ability to shift focus based on changing plans and priorities. Ability to be self-managed and work with minimal supervision. Must be able to perform the essential job requirements identified in the Functional Job Description for this position, including the ability to lift 50 pounds. EOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled
