Metal Finisher -Experience required - Princeton MN

TUCS Equipment is a small business that produces equipment for the food service industry. We are a family-owned company that values its employees and have been in the Princeton area for over 35 years. Demonstrates ability to work as part of the production team to ensure that parts are properly finished and de-burred in preparation for inspection, stock, and assembly. Familiar with and demonstrates knowledge of metal finishing techniques Uses tools: hand grinder, bench sander, time saver, small hand bead-blaster, etc. to prepare material for assembly and/or shipping Performs and maintains regular maintenance checks and repairs on tools and equipment Capable of comprehending work order printouts and follow through with completing work order Able to work at an efficient rate and timely manner; capable of completing tasks within a given deadline Maintains accurate time log of labor hours per work order through the use of Time Matrix Communicates with supervising staff when tool equipment purchases are needed Coordinates with welding, cutting, and assembly as appropriate for completing project within a given deadline Assists with transferring assembled equipment to loading dock; assists with loading shipments onto a trailer. Ability to drive forklift when required Maintains a clean and organized workspace complying with company's safety procedures, rules, and regulations and performs maintenance duties when required Keeps equipment operation by completing all required preventive maintenance, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling or requesting repairs Be able to work overtime as needed
