Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Grinding/Polishing Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating grinding and polishing equipment to ensure the highest standards of surface finish and dimensional accuracy on various metal components. Your expertise will help maintain our reputation for precision manufacturing and quality products. Responsibilities Operate grinding machines, polishing equipment, and related tools to achieve specified surface finishes on metal parts. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to determine proper grinding and polishing procedures. Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions and surface quality. Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production flow. Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety standards in production environments. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while ensuring quality control throughout the process. Requirements Proven experience operating grinding machines, polishing equipment, or similar industrial machinery in a manufacturing setting. Ability to read mechanical blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, shop math, and blueprint reading. Mechanical knowledge of industrial equipment troubleshooting and fabrication techniques. Capable of handling materials safely using hand tools and materials handling equipment. Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocols.
