Weekend Industrial Blaster- Part Time Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent business in the Blue Springs MS area is seeking a Part Time Industrial Blaster to join their team! This customer is offering a wide range of perks such as full benefits, 401K, and profit sharing!
Part Time Weekend Industrial Blaster Job Summary:

$15 per hourShifts Available:
o This is weekend only position, Fri, Sat or Sun (only 8-16 total hours per week) Shift and Day will vary on production schedule. Must be available to work any Fri, Sat or Sun, 1st or 2nd shift. Badge Orientation is required this Thursday at 12:45pm Operate abrasive blasting equipment to clean and prepare welded metal assemblies and fabricated components. Remove weld spatter, scale, rust, oxidation, dirt, and other surface contaminants from parts produced in the Body Weld Department. Inspect welded assemblies before and after blasting to verify quality and surface readiness for paint or additional processing. Load, unload, and position parts within blast cabinets, blast rooms, or blasting stations. Follow production schedules and prioritize work to support daily manufacturing goals. Monitor blasting equipment and media levels to ensure efficient operation. Identify defects such as incomplete welds, excessive spatter, or damaged components and report concerns to supervisors. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of blasting equipment and work areas. Safely handle large weldments and fabricated metal parts using overhead cranes, hoists, or material handling equipment when authorized. Accurately complete production and quality documentation. Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain housekeeping standards within the department. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in industrial blasting, welding, metal fabrication, manufacturing, or a related field preferred. Familiarity with welded assemblies and metal surface preparation techniques. Ability to read work instructions, production orders, and basic blueprints. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts. Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, squat, twist, and reach throughout the workday. Must be able to wear required PPE including respirators, blast hoods, hearing protection, gloves, safety glasses, and protective clothing. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, welding fumes, and varying temperatures. Why Peoplelink Staffing?
