Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finishing Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the final stages of product completion, ensuring that finished goods meet quality standards and specifications Responsibilities

• Execute surface preparation, detail sanding, and finish applications to exact shop standards.
• Mix, match, and prepare stains, paints, clear coats, and glazes, learning advanced chemistry alongside leadership.
• Set up, operate, clean, and troubleshoot HVLP systems and air-assisted spray equipment.
• Maintain active, daily communication with the Floor Manager regarding department workflow, staging, and component status.
• Keep spray booths, spray equipment, and finishing areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Train to conduct final quality control inspections to ensure outgoing pieces meet high-end residential standards prior to installation. Requirements

Experience :

1+ years of hands-on experience in finishing, cabinetmaking, or high-end woodworking.

Growth Mindset :

Strong desire and demonstrated potential to step into a Lead Finisher capacity.

Soft Skills :

Outstanding communication skills, a team-first mindset, and a proven track record of taking direction well.

Technical Foundation :

Familiarity with sanding progressions, wood species, and spray equipment setups.
