Job Description

Muench Realty is hiring on behalf of General Machine Company of NJ, a fourth generation, family-owned manufacturing company in Middlesex, New Jersey, specializing in high-quality industrial blenders and dryers.
Overview :
We are looking for a skilled Metal Polisher to perform surface finishing and polishing of metal parts and equipment. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience working with stainless steel, carbon steel, or metal fabrication in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities :
Use hand and power tools to polish, buff, paint and finish metal components. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Inspect finished work for quality, consistency, and specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Work independently or as part of a team on production deadlines. Follow all safety protocols and wear proper protective equipment. Assist with packaging, labeling, or finishing tasks as needed. Report any defects, equipment malfunctions, or quality issues to the supervisor.
Requirements :
High school diploma or GED certificate 3+ years of metal polishing or similar experience Ability to use grinders, buffers, polishers, and hand tools. Ability to identify different materials, finishes, and grades. Ability to identify visible defects. Ability to follow directions and work well without direct supervision. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
