Malone is hiring for an Automotive Polisher position in Newark, NJ. This is a direct hire opportunity! An automotive polisher restores and enhances vehicle finishes by buffing, polishing, and waxing surfaces to remove imperfections like scratches and swirls. A job description includes washing, decontaminating, and preparing vehicles, using specialized tools and products for a high-gloss finish, and applying protective coatings. Key requirements are attention to detail, knowledge of polishing techniques, physical stamina, and customer service skills.

Shift Details:

Pay is $25 per hour

Hours:

6AM-2:20PM Key responsibilities Inspect vehicle surfaces for damage and imperfections. Wash, decontaminate, and prepare vehicles for polishing. Select and use appropriate polishing compounds, pads, and tools to remove scratches, swirl marks, and oxidation. Apply protective coatings such as wax or sealants. Perform quality control checks to ensure a flawless finish. Maintain polishing equipment and order supplies as needed. Work with other team members, such as detailers and painters, to ensure vehicles are ready on time.

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of different polishing techniques and products. Proficiency with polishing machines and hand tools. Ability to operate cleaning equipment.

Soft Skills:

Exceptional attention to detail. Physical stamina to stand for long periods. Good communication and customer service skills. Time management skills to work efficiently. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Other Requirements:
