The ideal candidate will have experience with both hand-applied restoration techniques and professional spray finishing . We also welcome individuals with no prior experience who are interested in learning the trade . This is an onsite service position. We do not work in a shop. Our craftsmen perform all work directly at client locations, including commercial offices, residences, and high-end properties. Responsibilities Restore, refinish, and recondition existing wood surfaces Perform touch-ups, repairs, blending, and color matching Work within existing finishes to repair scratches, wear, fading, and surface damage Prepare surfaces through sanding, stripping, cleaning, and masking Apply stains, sealers, lacquers, and protective finishes by hand and with spray equipment Operate HVLP and/or conventional spray systems Match existing colors, sheens, and finishes Work on furniture, doors, wall panels, floors, trim, and architectural woodwork Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work area onsite Qualifications Wood refinishing or restoration experience preferred, but no experience is welcome Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Experience with hand-finishing, reconditioning, touch-ups, or spray finishing is a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, professional, and comfortable working onsite at client locations Mandatory Requirement for Experienced Sprayers Must pass a spray finishing test before hire. Testing will include spray technique, consistency, finish quality, and color matching.
