Columbus, OH Job Details $19 - $22 an hour Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications Fabrication Measuring tapes Full Job Description Sims-Lohman is hiring Granite Fabricator or Utility team member with 2+ years' previous granite fabrication with machine operation experience to work at our Columbus, Ohio location. We have first shift available. Second shift hours are 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM, Monday through Friday with overtime as needed. This position will be utilized as needed within our shop operating cutting machinery and or hand polishing.

Responsibilities include:

Trim, scrape or polish countertops or parts, using hand grinders and equipment Verify quality of finished countertops by inspecting them, comparing them to templates or measuring their dimensions Operate fabrication machinery to router or polish counter top edges Operate machinery to cut countertop pieces to specifications and customer satisfaction Qualifications 2+ years' experience polishing countertops highly preferred, and/or 2+ years' experience general industrial experience using hand grinder or polisher. Ability to use a variety of hand tools including hand grinders and hand routers Ability to read shop drawings and use a tape measure Ability to work with heavyweight Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen Competitive Pay Based on Experience.
