Metal Finish - Grind Position Summary The Metal Finish Grinder is responsible for removing excess material, smoothing welds, and preparing fabricated metal components for final finishing, painting, or assembly. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Grind welds and fabricated parts to specification. Remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections. Utilize grinders, sanders, and other finishing equipment. Perform quality inspections on completed work. Maintain production standards and schedules. Follow safety requirements and proper equipment usage. Keep work areas clean and organized. Qualifications Previous grinding or metal fabrication experience preferred. Ability to use hand and power grinding tools. Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.
