In this role, you will be responsible for polishing, finishing, inspecting, and preparing biopharmaceutical process components and equipment to meet strict quality, cleanliness, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate takes pride in precision workmanship, follows established procedures, and is committed to supporting the production of products used in critical pharmaceutical and biotechnology applications. Essential Responsibilities Polish, buff, grind, and finish stainless steel and other biopharmaceutical-grade components to required surface finish specifications. Inspect completed products for surface imperfections, defects, contamination, and compliance with quality standards. Operate polishing, grinding, and finishing equipment safely and efficiently. Interpret work orders, blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure requirements are met. Measure and verify surface finishes using appropriate inspection tools and instruments. Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and quality requirements. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality procedures, and company policies. Document work performed and complete production records accurately. Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve issues and improve processes. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience in metal polishing, finishing, manufacturing, fabrication, or a related field preferred. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Basic math and measurement skills. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment. Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with stainless steel products used in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food processing, or medical device industries. Knowledge of surface finish requirements, electropolishing processes, or sanitary manufacturing standards. Experience in regulated manufacturing environments. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday. Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and polishing equipment.
