Electronic (Using your CalCareer Account) Job Description and Duties This position is for a 10 month school year with eligibility for an additional 2 months to be paid by State Special School Benefits through Unemployment Insurance. In a special school setting, under the supervision of Supervising Cook I, the Food Service Technician II (FSTII) works at point of meal service station during meal service, checks serving lines & records food holding temperatures, collect & compile daily meal counts, leads, and assists Food Service Technician I (FSTI) in preparing cold items, serving meals, cleaning, & sanitizing dishes and work areas. Works in FSTI rotations and as needed. California School for the Deaf, Riverside (CSDR) is a 24-hour residential campus, so incumbent may be required to work outside normal business hours due to special events and operational need.
