Full Job Description Job Description:
We are seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Technician to support quality and food safety programs in a food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will perform product inspections, monitor production processes, ensure compliance with quality standards, and help maintain a safe and efficient workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods. Conduct quality checks, including visual inspections, weight, labeling, packaging, and code date verification. Monitor production activities to ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards. Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records. Identify, report, and escalate quality or food safety issues. Support investigations, corrective actions, and product hold processes when required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of QA/QC experience in food manufacturing or a production environment preferred. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, sanitation, and quality systems. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
