Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Food Safety Quality Assurance Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will ensure that all food products meet rigorous safety and quality standards by conducting comprehensive inspections, analyzing production processes, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Your expertise will help uphold our commitment to delivering safe, high-quality food products to consumers worldwide. Responsibilities Perform detailed quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and vision inspection systems to verify dimensional accuracy and adherence to specifications. Conduct regular quality audits of production processes, ensuring compliance with HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and FDA regulations. Interpret manufacturing and production documents, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately assess product conformity. Utilize calibration tools and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to perform precise measurements and ensure measurement instrument calibration standards are maintained. Analyze data collected during inspections, identify deviations from quality standards in production, and implement corrective actions as needed. Support the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems by documenting inspection results, non-conformance reports, and quality metrics. Assist in training team members on quality standards in production, measurement techniques, and regulatory compliance requirements.
