Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and bilingual Quality Assurance and Food Safety Technician to join our food manufacturing team. This role is responsible for inspecting products, verifying food safety and quality standards, documenting results accurately, and supporting daily production operations. The ideal candidate must be bilingual in English and Spanish , have experience in quality control or food manufacturing, and be comfortable working in a cold, wet, and fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities The Quality Assurance and Food Safety Technician will perform product evaluations according to customer specifications and company quality standards; inspect incoming raw materials and document findings accurately; record quality checks, food safety evaluations, AQL results, forms, and reports during the shift; monitor production processes to ensure compliance with food safety and quality procedures; report any quality or food safety concerns to the supervisor or manager; follow GMP, HACCP, SSOP, food safety, and quality assurance procedures; use tools such as calipers, scales, rulers, and thermometers to complete inspections; work closely with production and quality teams; participate in company training programs; maintain company-provided tools and equipment; and perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Must be bilingual in English and Spanish . Previous experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or food manufacturing is required. Experience in poultry, meat, or food production is preferred. Candidates must have basic knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and SSOP; the ability to use calipers, scales, rulers, and thermometers; the ability to follow written and verbal instructions; strong attention to detail; good time-management skills; and the ability to complete reports and maintain accurate records. Must be responsible, punctual, organized, safety-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Work Environment and Physical Requirements Candidates must be able to stand and walk throughout the entire shift, frequently lift 50 pounds or more, work around machinery, and perform repetitive movements, including twisting and turning. This position requires working in cold, wet, and damp conditions.

Pay:

$14.00 - $15.00 per hour
