$18.00•$20.00 per hour Standard +
Bonuses Schedule:

Job Responsibilities:
As a Food Plant Sanitation Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment, facilities, and production areas within a food manufacturing plant. Your primary responsibility is to execute sanitation protocols to prevent contamination, maintain hygiene standards, and comply with food safety regulations. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to strict protocols, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Maintain cleaning and sanitation following the company Master Sanitation Program. Utilize chemicals and cleaning agents to clean and sanitize processing area walls, floors, and equipment. Utilize refuse and sanitation tools properly and safely. Removal of debris from the processing area. Communicate chemicals supply levels to management. Maintain plant safety. Clean and maintain sanitation equipment. Work independently with minimal supervision. Provide back-up support for other duties as needed. Become certified as an electric pallet jack operator and scissor lift operator. Perform other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
This role requires a significant amount of movement to meet sanitation standards. The position will require general physical movements such as frequent walking, standing, lifting, bending, twisting, and reaching. Environmental conditions include frequent exposure to cold, wet, allergen, noise, and fumes / chemical / odor from raw materials and sanitation chemicals.
Qualifications:
Sanitation experience in warehouse, kitchen, or plant a plus. Ability to use industrial-strength chemicals. Ability to understand and demonstrate safety procedures. Ability to push or pull heavy equipment. Ability to demonstrate excellent work habits in line with good manufacturing practices (GMP). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to follow detailed oral and written instructions. Ability to communicate effectively. Must read, write and speak fluent English Bilingual a plus Ability to lift 50 lbs., occasionally 50+ lbs.
