Agronomy Services Operator

  • Full-time Job Summary This role is responsible the completing the processes of seeding customer fields thru both strip till and no till operations.
Incumbent is required to safely, efficiently and effectively operate the equipment, achieving a planted field with a high probability for productive yield. Additionally, this role will support other agronomy and seed operations. Duties Operates No-Till Planter, Air Seeder and Strip-Till equipment. Maintains all utilized equipment with preventive maintenance and basic repair skills. Assists with seed and fertilizer farm deliveries. Loads and unloads fertilizer, seed and chemicals. Assists in all Agronomy services, including soil sampling, spreader and applicator maintenance. Maintains positive customer and employee relations. Takes direction from agronomy management to ensure that the overall agronomy needs of producers/customers are being met. Communicates clearly and directly with supervisors, peers, customers and direct reports. Approachable, relates well to others, engages people, articulates clearly and actively listens. Qualifications High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) One year planting/agronomy equipment operation. CDL License
  • Class B (or ability to attain within 6 months)
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience .
