Description:
As an agronomy sales intern, you will spend your summer gaining experience in how MKC builds relationships with our farmer owners and how we assist in the decision-making activities for production agriculture. You will learn valuable agronomy knowledge while planting test plots, collecting data, updating and tracking progression of growing season. Our Strategic Account Managers will be your mentors in learning the sales process and growing your skills. You will have the opportunity to interact and assist our farmer/owners maximize productivity and profitability by being on the leading edge of agriculture technology. Desire to build relationships, willingness to learn about technology, and the desire to work independently at times are requirements for this role. To be successful in this role, applicants should be motivated, eager to learn and try new things while working alongside our Strategic Account Managers and farmer owners. Summer projects frequently focus on evaluating new tools/products/practices and assessing the benefits provided to MKC and our farmer owners. You will be given the opportunity to grow yourself through both professional and technical skill development activities. We want to add as much value to you as you add to MKC during your internship!
