Experienced QA Technician -
Bachelor's Degree & Food MFG Experience Required Pay Rate:
$21-$23/hr
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 1:00pm-9:00pm (training schedule 10:00am-6:00pm)
Assignment Length:
Temp-to-Hire We are seeking candidates with food manufacturing quality experience and/or a degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field to work 2 nd Shift as a QA Technician. This position pays $21-$23/hr and is a temp-to-hire opportunity . This role is ideal for someone with a background in food safety, quality assurance, HACCP, SQF, and GMP compliance who enjoys hands-on testing, auditing processes, and ensuring products meet strict quality standards. This is an exciting chance to work for a specialty food manufacturer known for top‑notch products , fun company‑wide events , excellent on‑site food options , and free products for employees . Minimum Qualifications to
Be Considered:
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field preferred 1-3 years of food manufacturing experience in Quality Assurance, Food Safety, Operations, or Food Science preferred Working knowledge of HACCP, SQF, GMPs, sanitation practices, allergens, and food labeling requirements strongly preferred
Typical Daily Duties:
Perform sensory and analytical testing on ingredients and finished products Conduct quality and food safety audits to ensure compliance with established standards Record, analyze, and maintain quality data and product control documentation Support production through product holds, releases, and sample retention processes Verify labels, calibrate equipment, and coordinate external testing samples Follow HACCP, SQF, GMP, and food safety protocols in all activities To be considered for this 2nd Shift QA Technician opening in Westbrook , please contact us using any of the methods below.
