This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, growing existing business, and developing new accounts throughout the territory. The position combines account management, consultative selling, and business development while serving restaurants, hospitality groups, institutions, and other foodservice operators throughout the market. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow an established portfolio of foodservice accounts while maintaining strong customer relationships. Identify and secure new business opportunities within the assigned territory through prospecting, networking, and referrals. Conduct regular in-person customer visits and provide product recommendations, market insights, and menu support. Collaborate with internal teams including customer service, operations, purchasing, and finance to ensure exceptional customer experiences. Drive revenue growth through product expansion, account penetration, and strategic sales initiatives. Maintain accurate customer records, activity updates, and pipeline management within CRM systems. Monitor competitive activity, industry trends, and customer needs to develop winning sales strategies. Support account receivable collection efforts and proactively resolve customer concerns when needed. Qualifications and Must-Haves Minimum 2-3 years of successful outside sales, account management, or customer-facing business development experience. Experience within foodservice distribution, hospitality, food & beverage, produce, specialty foods, or related industries strongly preferred. Proven ability to grow existing accounts while consistently developing new business opportunities. Strong relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Ability to manage a large territory, prioritize activities, and work independently. Comfortable working toward sales, revenue, profit, and growth objectives. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to spend the majority of the workweek in the field. Bilingual Spanish/English skills are a plus. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Pay Details:
