Patterson is seeking a Service Tech to join our Technical & Maintenance team supporting agriculture, forestry, and fishing customers. In this field-based role, you will install, maintain, and repair agricultural and animal health equipment, ensuring reliable performance and outstanding customer support. You'll diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, perform preventive maintenance, and document service work. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain agricultural and animal health equipment at customer sites Perform preventive maintenance to maximize uptime and equipment performance Install, configure, and test new equipment following OEM and Patterson standards Document service activities, parts usage, and recommendations accurately Educate customers on proper equipment operation, care, and safety Collaborate with sales and technical teams to support customer solutions Maintain company tools, service vehicle, and inventory in good order Follow all safety, environmental, and compliance procedures Required Skills Agricultural equipment diagnostics Mechanical repair and maintenance Hydraulics systems troubleshooting Basic electrical/electronic systems Preventive maintenance planning Technical documentation and reporting Customer service and communication Safety and OSHA compliance Use of diagnostic tools/software Time management and routing
