This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working independently, solving problems in the field, and providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Respond to scheduled and emergency mobile service calls Mount, dismount, repair, replace, and service commercial and agricultural tires Service tires on trucks, trailers, farm equipment, and other heavy-duty equipment Inspect and diagnose tire issues and determine the appropriate repair or replacement Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on customer equipment Install, maintain, diagnose, and troubleshoot Central Tire Inflation Systems (CTIS) Safely operate a service truck and specialized tire and mechanical equipment Load and organize tires, tools, parts, and equipment required for service calls Complete daily inspections of the service truck, tools, and equipment Communicate with customers and shop personnel regarding service needs, repairs, and job status Accurately complete service tickets, paperwork, and other required documentation Assist with shop operations and other duties when not responding to field calls Keep the service truck clean, organized, and properly stocked Follow all company, DOT, and safety requirements, including proper PPE usage Promptly report incidents, near misses, equipment issues, and safety concerns What We're Looking For Previous experience with commercial, agricultural, heavy-duty tires, or mechanical repair preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills CTIS experience is a plus; willingness to learn is essential Ability to safely handle heavy tires, tools, parts, and equipment Ability to perform physically demanding work, including bending, kneeling, crouching, lifting, and working on the ground Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and snow Ability to work independently and make sound decisions while working in the field Dependable, safety-minded, and customer-focused Strong communication and time-management skills Valid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency service needs Why This Role?
