Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Food Quality Responsibilities:
This position monitors food quality attributes during production runs. Must verify quality program records. Implements Process Quality Control programs as follows: monitors and/or verifies process control checks (scale verification, slice count, etc.). Monitors documentation of the label verification program and the product formulation program.
Auditing & HACCP Plan Responsibilities:
Performs GMP audits in production areas and must correct and help retrain other team members as appropriate. Trained as a HACCP Authority, where applicable, to verify and preship HACCP records. Performs audits on the documentation of process and HACCP records. Performs a section of routine internal process and facility audits, which includes detailed documentation of findings and subsequent follow-up verification of corrective actions. Works with USDA and 3rd party auditors as needed and helps maintain, coordinate, and provide continuous improvement to other Programs as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned.
