\r\n\r\nJob Description\r\n \r\n\r\nThe Resident Service Technician repairs machines to the customer's satisfaction in the field, shop or customers location. Removes, installs, repairs, disassembles, assembles, performs failure analyses of all CLAAS equipment including engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, transmissions, power train, brakes, steering, electronic and computer applications, heating and air conditioning (HVAC).\r\n\r\n\r\n\tTroubleshoots and repairs customer machines at customer jobsites\r\n\tUses SIS to order parts, troubleshoot machine systems and research problems\r\n\tMachinery Inspection\r\n\tMachinery Set-Up and Adjustment\r\n\tUses laptop to enter labor, fill out service reports and complete warranty reports\r\n\tUses service manuals and parts books to look up specs and parts for repairs\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n
Note:
This position includes frequent travel by auto; valid driver's license with a verifiably safe driving history is required. May require overnight travel and weekend or evening work\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nYour profile:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tDiesel Tech School Degree preferred, or equivalent work experience\r\n\t3-5 years' experience in a field service technician role, preferred\r\n\tPrior experience in troubleshooting methods and tools required\r\n\tMust provide personal tools for position\r\n\tWorking knowledge of CLAAS parts, a plus\r\n\tExcellent oral and written communication skills / Excellent customer service skills.\r\n\tAbility to read and interpret parts and machine schematics.\r\n\tAbility to travel within region and to be able to work with limited supervision\r\n\tMust be self-sufficient with a proven ability to work independently and a strong willingness to learn\r\n\tMust be able to maintain professionalism at all times.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n
