About the Role As a Process Technician, youll play a vital role on a hard-working team that transforms raw ingredients into high-quality, safe, and delicious food. This role is physically demanding, fast-paced, and requires a sharp eye for detail, strict attention to food safety, and a hands-on mindset. Youll be the bridge between ingredient preparation and final productionmaking sure each batch is exactly right and ready when it needs to be. Our 2nd shift employees also receive an additional $1 per hour for a shift differential in addition to our quarterly bonus. What Youll Do Follow and verify precise batch recipes and ingredient specifications Cook ingredients to exact standards, including techniques like sauting Lead and support Process Assistants to ensure on-time product readiness Maintain clean, organized workspaces aligned with GMP and HACCP standards Operate equipment like hand pumps, scales, forklifts, and hand jacks Accurately complete all required documentation for food safety and quality Identify and resolve process deviations, communicating with supervisors as needed Support plant safety, sanitation, and training efforts as assigned Work Environment Temperature and humidity may vary (cold, heat, steam, etc.) Fast-paced, team-oriented production setting Youll be standing, lifting, climbing, and working with raw food ingredients regularly About Giovanni Food Company Giovanni Food Company has been proudly family-owned and operated since 1934.
