Cardinal Staffing is hiring a

FOOD QUALITY TECHNICIAN

for a large scale bakery in Sandsuky, OH.

Job Summary:

Individuals must be able to work well on a team, be detailed orientated , provide timely and accurate data to appropriate departments.

Responsibilities:

Performing physical and visual inspections of product; calculating and documenting test results accurately; taking corrective action when necessary by alerting appropriate personnel to adjust process; identify, segregate, & isolate non-conforming product.

Requirements:

• Responsible for reporting any food safety or quality issues to supervisor as well as the following specific duties involving food safety and quality.
• Perform chemical, physical and sensory tests on all raw and finished products using approved methods to generate accurate data.
• Testing to include but not limited to the following, weight, diameter, thickness, color, moisture, oil, salt, ph, breakage, O2, gluten.
• Record all information in an orderly fashion and report all deviations from standard to supervisor.
• Follow Quality Assurance procedures as described by QA Manager.
• Carry out any corrections prescribed by QA Manager.

Hours:
