This position is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys solving complex problems, working independently, and taking ownership of their work. The strongest candidates bring a solid foundation in electrical troubleshooting, refrigeration, HVAC systems, mechanical repair, or commercial-equipment service. Successful technicians can accurately diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related failures, read wiring diagrams and technical documentation, and adapt confidently in a fast-paced field environment. What You'll Do Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial foodservice equipment Identify the root cause of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related failures Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections Read and interpret wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical documentation Complete repairs correctly and efficiently Clearly explain technical findings and repair recommendations to customers Recommend appropriate repairs, maintenance, parts, or equipment solutions based on customer needs Complete accurate service reports and other required documentation Maintain appropriate inventory levels in an assigned service vehicle Properly care for the company vehicle, tools, parts, and company-issued equipment Work safely and professionally at customer locations Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call rotations as scheduled Ideal Candidate Profile Successful technicians are self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
