Job Description
Our client, a global food manufacturer in Lancaster, PA, is seeking 2 Quality Food Safety Techs for a 2.5+month contract position.
We are looking for organized, self-starting Quality Food Safety Techs to support food safety and quality activities within the food manufacturing plant. This is an on-site position with openings on 2nd and 3rd shift. 2nd shift: 3:00 PM-11:00 PM 3rd shift: 11:00 PM-7:00 AM.

Position overview:
Role will be assisting with plant swabbing, paperwork filing, reporting, data entry, documentation updates, and general food safety/quality administrative duties.General Responsibilities:
Maintaining a safe and clean work area. Calibrating and maintaining online quality equipment. Reviewing production paperwork for completion and accuracy. Initiating corrective actions for quality deficiencies. Setting up and documenting daily product evaluations. Assisting with hold evaluations. Collecting and maintaining sample retains. Managing quality documentation. Reviewing raw material paperwork. Preparing sample shipments. Supporting innovation projects within the plant. Performing weekly and monthly audits. Participating in various training events. Taking routine and investigatory environmental samples. Ensuring adherence to standard work processes and compliance with regulations, including food safety policies and allergen control. Assisting in troubleshooting quality problems and implementing product improvements. Acting as a back-up for the Quality Supervisor.Skills Required:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Professionalism and urgency in meeting internal and external business needs.Experience Required:
2 years of related work experience in a laboratory or food processing/manufacturing environment.Education Required:
