Entry Level Salary:
$21 - $23 per hour Job Details - Our company is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Quality Assurance and Food Safety Technician. This position plays a vital role in our Engineering industry, ensuring the safety, quality, and efficiency of our food production processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our HACCP and GMP programs, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and overseeing the manufacturing process to ensure high-quality products.
Responsibilities:
1. The Quality Assurance and Food Safety Technician is in charge of making sure that our food manufacturing plant complies with food safety regulations and meets product quality standards. 2. Help the front-line supervisors make sure the GMP and HACCP programs are followed. 3. Make that the company's facilities and manufacturing procedures adhere to quality standards, with a focus on customer happiness, environmental awareness, product safety, and sanitation. 4. Random on-floor quality inspections are used to assure product quality, and regular internal audits are used to make sure the plant satisfies FDA standards. 5. Conduct regular audits in the warehouse and factory to make sure that corporate requirements are fulfilled. 6. In charge of the training program and schedule for food safety and quality control. 7. Make sure the material obtained complies with the company's quality assurance criteria and that supplier information is up to date. Verify the final product's chemical, micrOur Clientological, and specification integrity. 8. Conduct factory audits, such as internal audits and daily pre-operational checks. 9. Carries out thorough investigations to help promptly resolve non-compliant products or practices and uses the results to enhance the procedure.
Qualifications:
1. Post-secondary education in Food Science, Chemistry, Public Health or Biological Science. 2. Knowledge of food safety standards. 3. Effective communication skills. 4. Strong organization skills and attention to detail. 5. Ability to work under tight deadlines & pressure. 6. Must be computer literate. 7.
