Job Description

QA Technician Job Summary Join our quality assurance team as a QA Technician in a professional manufacturing environment, earning $20/hour or more (depending on experience and aptitude) with opportunities for overtime and Saturday work. We're seeking bilingual candidates who are ready to grow their careers in Food Safety and Quality Assurance. Great opportunity for advancement for right candidate. What You'll Do Conduct Food Safety monitoring and testing procedures and ensure Good Manufacturing Practices are followed by all employees. Record inspection and testing results and maintain accurate records. Use Microsoft Office applications to record data and generate reports and training materials. Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to identify and resolve quality and food safety issues. Perform product sampling and testing using laboratory equipment and sensory evaluations. Support continuous improvement programs and help build a positive Food Safety Work Culture. Communicate with both English and Spanish-speaking associates. Participate in training programs to expand your QA knowledge and skills and certifications. Train, teach, encourage and coach others in Food Safety Practices and behaviors.
What You Bring Required:
Professional appearance and strong communication skills Experience and skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point). Willingness to learn new skills and obtain Food Safety certifications Flexibility and ability to work various shifts, overtime, and Saturdays when needed. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and with a team. Willingness to take on and train for Leadership, Supervisory and/or Management Roles. Be a Team player and bring fun and positivity to the workplace. Energetic yet patient.
Preferred but not mandatory:
Bilingual in English and Spanish. Previous GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) experience Prior quality assurance, inspection or computer experience Manufacturing, production, teaching-coaching or science environment background. Schedule & Shift Flexible shift assignments with overtime and some Saturday O.T. work. Pay & Compensation Starting at $20.00 per hour, with potential for increases based on qualifications and performance. #YESNORTHSALTLAKEJOBS
