COMMRCIAL FURNITURE INSTALLER
Position Description:
The Furniture Installer plays an essential part in the Think Office's project execution phase and performs set up and professional installation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment, while also being responsible for creating safe and positive experiences with customers and the team
Summary of Responsibilities:
Deliver, set up and professionally install furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Provide all required information to document the completion of work and any punch list or change order items. Assist with processing freight and organizing products in the warehouses. Vehicle cleaning and maintenance. Follow relevant safety equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies that promotes a work environment in compliance with local, state, and national safety standards. Have professional appearance and excellent work ethic. Maintain a positive attitude and show a commitment to teamwork
Requirements:
Maintain personal driving record that meets company's insurance eligibility requirements. Good customer service skills. Experience with hand tools, power tools, and has mechanical skills. Basic math, understanding of measuring systems, and basic reading and writing skills. Ability to lift and move heavy objects. Ability to work without direct supervision and also work as part of a team.
Ability to operate lift equipment:
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. Possession of valid Alaska State Driver's License with superior driving record. ability to drive and operate company vehicles without restrictions. Able to operate a forklift. Proven team building abilities. Ability to pass pre-hire background check and drug test. While it is not required, previous carpentry work or experience using hand and power tools is a plus.

Variety of hand and power tools Panel carts, hand truck, pallet jack Cell phone, laptop, and/or other technology
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, stoop, squat; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Employee must frequently lift and/or move upwards of 50-70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
