Anaheim, CA Job Details Full-time $18 - $20 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Packing Attention to detail Hand tools Full Job Description Shop Support Technician We're looking for someone to help out around the shop and keep things moving. This is a hands-on position doing a little bit of everything that needs to get done, with a focus on cleaning, finishing parts, keeping the shop organized, and helping the machinists. No machining experience is required. We're looking for someone who is dependable, willing to learn, pays attention to detail, and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty. What you'll be doing Cleaning and organizing the shop. Cleaning, deburring, polishing, and finishing parts. Washing parts and getting them ready for inspection or shipping. Removing sharp edges and burrs from finished parts. Helping machinists with whatever support work they need. Moving and organizing material, parts, and supplies. Packaging finished parts for shipment. Keeping work areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized. Helping load and unload material when needed. Basic shop cleanup and maintenance. Checking finished parts for obvious damage, burrs, or cleanliness issues. Pitching in wherever needed to help keep the shop running. What we're looking for Someone reliable who shows up and gets the job done. Good attention to detail. Able to follow instructions. Comfortable using basic hand tools. Willing to learn. Able to work around machinery and in a shop environment. Manufacturing, automotive, fabrication, or shop experience is a plus, but not required . Physical Requirements Able to stand and work on your feet for most of the day. Able to lift and move parts and materials. Comfortable doing repetitive hands-on work. Able to safely work around machinery, metal, tools, and shop equipment. This is not a machining position . The main goal is to take care of the work around the machining so the machinists can stay focused on running parts.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
