Caulking Full Job Description We're Hiring:
Paint Prep Specialist Folklore Event Rentals | Oceanside, CA | $22-27/hr | Seasonal → Full-Time If you know the difference between a good caulk line and a great one, we want to talk to you. At Folklore, we turn around custom-colored furniture — chairs, tables, bars — fast. Sometimes weekly, sometimes daily, depending on what's booked. That kind of pace only works if the prep work is dialed in every single time. We're looking for someone who's spent real time in the trade and can keep up without cutting corners. The Job You'll work alongside our painting crew prepping furniture for a clean, durable finish that can turn around quickly. That means sanding down rough spots, filling holes and seams, masking off what shouldn't get paint, and laying down primer so the final coat goes on right the first time. You'll also help out with brush, roller, and spray work when needed, and be ready to move between pieces and colors as demand shifts. This isn't about replacing anyone — it's an added set of experienced hands so the crew can keep pace without sacrificing quality. What You Bring 2+ years of professional painting experience (furniture, residential, or commercial work preferred) Solid hands-on skills with sanding, filling, caulking, masking, and priming Comfortable with hand and power tools used in prep and finish work Able to work efficiently under quick turnaround times without sacrificing quality An eye for spotting a surface that isn't ready and knowing how to fix it Someone who works well as part of a crew, not just solo Reliable, steady, and good under a deadline Bonus Experience Spray painting Airless/HVLP sprayers Color matching Bondo/wood filler Furniture refinishing Seam repair If you take pride in prep work most people never notice — even when the clock's ticking — we'd like to meet you.Pay:
