Full-time Position Summary Davis Sign & Awning is seeking a detail-oriented Vehicle Wrap Installer to produce and install high-quality vehicle graphics, partial wraps, full wraps, fleet markings, decals, and related graphics. This team member will take pride in craftsmanship, work efficiently, protect client vehicles, and help ensure every completed project reflects our standard of excellence. Key Responsibilities- Prepare, print, laminate, trim, and install vehicle wraps, graphics, decals, lettering, and fleet markings.
- Perform thorough vehicle inspections before and after installation; document existing damage and protect vehicles throughout the process.
- Clean, prep, disassemble, and reassemble vehicle components as needed for proper installation.
- Apply vinyl accurately around curves, recesses, rivets, handles, mirrors, bumpers, and other complex surfaces.
- Review work orders, artwork, measurements, and installation instructions before beginning work.
- Conduct quality-control checks for alignment, adhesion, bubbles, lifting edges, color consistency, and overall finish.
- Maintain a clean, organized, climate-appropriate wrap area and properly care for tools, printers, laminators, and application equipment.
- Track material usage, identify shortages, and minimize waste.
- Communicate promptly with the manager and design team regarding artwork concerns, vehicle-condition issues, timing, or production challenges.
- Assist with sign, banner, and graphic production as needed.
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a professional, respectful presence around clients and coworkers. Qualifications
- Prior experience installing vehicle wraps, fleet graphics, decals, or large-format vinyl graphics preferred.
- Experience with Avery Dennison, 3M, or comparable wrap films strongly preferred.
- Comfortable using heat guns, knives, squeegees, knifeless tape, laminators, plotters, and related tools.
- Ability to read work orders, follow production specifications, and work from approved digital artwork.
- Strong attention to detail, patience, and pride in producing a clean finished product.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and reaching throughout the day.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ideal Characteristics
