Independent Furniture Pickup & Delivery Contractor Twin City Staging Bloomington, MN Job Details Contract $50 - $70 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Moving Driver's License Full Job Description We are looking for reliable independent contractors to help with furniture pickup and delivery throughout the Twin Cities. This is a flexible opportunity for someone who has a pickup truck, cargo van, trailer, or other appropriate vehicle and wants to earn money completing individual furniture pickup and delivery jobs. What You'll Do Pick up couches and other furniture from sellers, homes, and designated locations Safely load, transport, and unload furniture Deliver furniture to our designated location or customer Communicate with us regarding pickup and delivery times Take basic photos of furniture at pickup when requested Handle furniture carefully and professionally How It Works Jobs are assigned as they become available. You can accept jobs that fit your schedule and availability. We are building a growing furniture operation for staging homes and are looking for dependable contractors who can become regular drivers. As the business grows, there is potential for consistent recurring work and multiple jobs per week. Requirements Reliable truck, cargo van, trailer, or appropriate vehicle Valid driver's license Ability to safely lift and move furniture with assistance when necessary Reliable communication and punctuality Ability to treat customers' homes and property respectfully Previous furniture moving or delivery experience is preferred but not required Ideal Contractor You are dependable, organized, physically capable, and comfortable working independently. You understand that showing up on time and handling furniture carefully is essential. This is not a traditional 9-to-5 position . Work is performed on a flexible, per-job basis, making it a good fit for someone who wants control over when they work.
