Job Title Office Furniture Installation Specialist (Also known as: Commercial Furniture Installer / Workspace Installation Technician) Job Description We are seeking experienced Office Furniture Installation Specialists to join our growing team. In this role, you will work onsite at client locations installing commercial workspace systems such as cubicles, desks, cabinets, and other office furnishings. This position is ideal for hands‑on individuals with strong mechanical aptitude, a team‑oriented mindset, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality service. Key Responsibilities Install commercial office furniture systems, including cubicles, desks, cabinetry, and related components Arrive punctually at assigned job sites and represent the company in a professional manner Work collaboratively with installation crews to complete projects efficiently and accurately Safely and effectively use hand tools and power tools during installation Follow blueprints, layouts, and work orders to ensure proper setup and placement Required Skills & Experience Previous experience assembling or installing office furniture Proficiency with hand and power tools Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layouts, or work orders Minimum of 1 year in a physically active role requiring prolonged standing and repetitive tasks Strong mechanical skills and general construction knowledge Additional Qualifications At least 6 months of hands‑on experience using hand and/or power tools (any industry) At least 1 month of experience reading blueprints or work orders Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Interest in a long‑term, permanent career opportunity Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
