POSITION SUMMARY

CoronadoDC is seeking an experienced Office Furniture Installer to join our Albuquerque team. This hands-on position involves the delivery, assembly, installation, relocation, and removal of commercial office furniture. The ideal candidate has experience installing modular systems furniture, understands installation plans and manufacturer instructions, and takes pride in producing safe, clean, and high-quality work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Receive, unload, stage, assemble, install, relocate, and disassemble commercial office furniture. Install cubicles, panels, casegoods, workstations, seating, shelving, and related components. Read and follow manufacturer instructions, floor plans, blueprints, and space plans. Properly align, level, secure, and finish furniture installations. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, dollies, and material-handling equipment. Protect client property and maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas. Complete required work orders, photographs, timesheets, and installation documentation. Work collaboratively with Lead Installers, supervisors, other installers, and client representatives. Drive company vehicles to and from project locations. Travel to other project locations when required. Follow all company, client, and job-site safety requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

At least two years of commercial or systems-furniture installation experience. Experience installing modular workstations, cubicles, casegoods, panels, or related office-furniture systems. Familiarity with one or more major furniture manufacturers, including Herman Miller, Steelcase, Haworth, Knoll, Allsteel, or Teknion. Manufacturer certification is preferred but not required. Previous experience working at Department of Veterans Affairs facilities or other government locations is a plus. Ability to read installation instructions, floor plans, and basic space plans. Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools. Dependable, professional, adaptable, and attentive to detail. Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability and willingness to operate company vehicles. Willingness to travel to job sites within and outside the local area. High school diploma or GED preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds regularly. Ability to assist with team lifts of heavier items weighing up to 100 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb throughout the workday. Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements associated with furniture assembly and installation. Ability to safely use ladders or approved lifts at heights of up to 12 feet. Ability to work in warehouses, active project sites, construction environments, and occupied office spaces. Ability to remain physically active for extended periods.

COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE

$23.00-$28.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and manufacturer certifications. Full-time and part-time opportunities may be available. The schedule may vary based on project requirements. Occasional overtime and travel may be required.
