We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Furniture Delivery Helper . As a Furniture Delivery Helper, you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery and installation of furniture to our valued customers in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. You will work closely with our delivery team to ensure a smooth and efficient delivery process. $18-$20 per hour

Work Schedule:

M-F 7:00 to until route is complete. Hours vary depending on season. 50-60 during peak season; 40 hours during non-peak season. May be required to work Saturdays during peak season.

Responsibilities:

Assist in loading and unloading furniture onto delivery trucks, ensuring items are secured and protected during transportation. Assist with assembling and disassembling furniture, ensuring proper handling and installation. Communicate effectively with customers, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns they may have. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of delivery vehicles, reporting any issues or damages to the supervisor. Follow delivery schedules and routes, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others. Collaborate with the delivery team to optimize delivery processes and improve overall efficiency.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in home delivery preferred. Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy furniture items and perform manual labor. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Basic knowledge of assembly tools and techniques. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
