• Accessory & Upfit Division Sands Auto Group is looking for a motivated Entry‑Level Technician to join our team in our custom upfit/accessories department.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, learning new skills, and being part of a fast‑growing specialty branch of the dealership. What You'll Do Install aftermarket accessories (running boards, bed covers, floor liners, mud flaps, etc.) Assist with custom upfit projects for trucks, SUVs, and commercial vehicles Perform basic mechanical tasks under supervision Maintain a clean, organized work area Follow safety procedures and dealership standards Work closely with the accessory manager to complete daily jobs Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy Experience Required Prior hands‑on mechanical, shop, or installation experience (professional or personal) Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools safely Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Preferred (but not required) Experience installing automotive accessories Basic electrical knowledge (wiring lights, harnesses, etc.) Previous dealership or shop experience What We Offer Full‑time position with growth opportunities Training from experienced upfit technicians Competitive pay based on experience Employee benefits package A supportive team environment with steady workflow Who Thrives Here Someone who shows up ready to work, takes pride in their work, and wants to grow into a full technician or custom upfit specialist.
