Excalibur Research Development & Manufacturing is a growing sheet metal fabrication company specializing in laser cutting, forming and welding. We are looking for dependable and hardworking Shop Hands to assist with packaging, assembly, material handling, and general shop support. This position offers a great opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role involves physical work in a manufacturing setting. Employees must be capable of performing the essential functions of their position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including standing for extended periods, material handling, and lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to approximately 50 pounds, while following all safety rules and PPE requirements. Key Responsibilities:

Package finished parts and products for shipment Assemble products and hardware components Deburr and clean laser-cut parts Assist with loading/unloading materials Organize and maintain shop cleanliness Help operators and fabricators as needed Inspect parts for basic quality issues before packaging Prepare pallets and shipments for freight pickup

Requirements:

Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly Reliable transportation and punctual attendance Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Basic experience with hand tools and power tools preferred Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to stand for long periods of time
