Deburr/Grinding Technician Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Deburr/Grinding Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for finishing precision-machined parts by removing sharp edges, burrs, and excess material through deburring, grinding, and polishing techniques. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and experience working in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform deburring, grinding, sanding, and polishing on metal components to meet quality standards. Use hand tools, power tools, and abrasive equipment to remove burrs and sharp edges. Inspect parts for burrs, surface defects, and dimensional accuracy using gauges, calipers, or other measuring tools. Maintain consistent part quality according to blueprints, drawings, or work instructions. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area. Report any defects or quality issues to supervisors. Assist in other finishing or production operations as needed.

Requirements:

Previous experience operating grinders is required Ability to use hand tools for assembly and fabrication tasks Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical stamina to stand/sit for long periods of time and lift heavy materials if necessary Must me able to work a 2nd shift : Monday-Thursday schedule (2 weeks of training will be conducted on 1st shift)
