Knowledge of abrasives, wheel types, and grinding procedures.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
Set up and operate grinding or polishing machines (surface, cylindrical, centerless, CNC)Select, mount, balance, and dress grinding wheels based on specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements.
Perform in‑process and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and comparators.
