In this vital role, you will be responsible for refining and finishing metal components to meet strict specifications, enhancing both safety and performance. Responsibilities Use and maintain a Lissmac Automatic Debur machine and Timer Saver Grainer - REQUIRED Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections from machined parts. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to ensure proper finishing of components. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols related to fabrication, and the use of hand tools. This role will float in the shop depending on demand. Candidate will be cross trained in assembly, part mark, machining. Skills Mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing environments. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings with GD&T standards. Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments accurately. Warehouse experience including forklift operation is a plus for material handling efficiency. Comfortable working with hand tools such as grinders, files, scrapers, and power tools essential for deburring tasks.

Pay:

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
