WORK SCHEDULE
Full-Time:
5:00 AM - 1:30 PM, Monday through Friday; overtime as needed.
Part-Time:
Flexible schedule based on business needs; overtime as needed.

Position Summary The Deburrer plays an important role by ensuring all machined components meet strict quality standards and delivery schedules by removing burrs, sharp edges, and surface defects in accordance with engineering drawings, as well as verbal and written instructions. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and hands-on proficiency with a variety of manual and power tools. Success in this role requires the ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while working both independently and as part of a team.
Essential job duties and responsibilities:
Deburr machined components by removing sharp edges, burrs, and surface defects using specialized manual and power tools—including air grinders, deburring pens, files, bench grinders, jitterbugs, multi-grit sanding blocks, and Scotch-Brite pads. Manage the loading and unloading of tumble-finishing machines to achieve required surface standards. Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to verify conformance to quality standards and customer specifications. Consistently meet production schedules while maintaining established quality standards. Follow all AS9100 quality management procedures, company policies, and safety regulations. Perform daily inspections of deburring equipment and promptly report any malfunctions, safety concerns, or maintenance needs. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; perform basic preventive maintenance to keep equipment free of foreign object debris (FOD) and operating efficiently. Other deburring projects and tasks as assigned.
Education and work experience:
Education:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required Work experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on deburr work experience Knowledge and skills: Ability to safely use and maintain basic deburring tools and equipment, such as air grinders, deburring pens, files, bench grinders, jitterbugs, multi-grit sanding blocks, and Scotch-Brite pads. Ability to handle and inspect parts carefully while maintaining consistent quality standards. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to follow work instructions, safety procedures, and quality requirements. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Physical demands:
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in a manufacturing and shop-floor environment, including but not limited to: Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the facility. Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and moving around equipment and work areas. Ability to work safely around machinery, production equipment, and other shop-floor activities. Frequent use of hands and arms for handling materials, paperwork, tools, and other job-related items. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. as required for the position. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, and other protective equipment as required. Ability to work in varying shop-floor conditions, including exposure to noise, dust, and changes in temperature.
