In this role, you will be responsible for removing burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from machined parts to ensure they meet strict quality standards and safety requirements. Your expertise in machine operation, precision measurement, and technical blueprint interpretation will contribute to delivering high-quality components for various manufacturing applications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced industrial equipment and develop your skills in machining and fabrication within a dynamic production environment. Duties Operate deburring machines and hand tools to smooth and finish machined parts, ensuring all edges are free of burrs and sharpness. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensional accuracy and adherence to specifications. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to identify critical dimensions and tolerances for deburring tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety standards in production at all times. Troubleshoot minor issues with industrial equipment such as CNC machines, stamping presses, or press brake machines to minimize downtime. Collaborate with machine operators, quality control personnel, and assembly teams to ensure parts meet quality standards before packaging or assembly. Document inspection results, process adjustments, and any deviations according to manufacturing protocols. Experience Prior experience working in a manufacturing or factory environment with hands-on machine operation is highly preferred. Familiarity with CNC programming, CAM programming, or CNC machining processes is advantageous. Knowledge of mechanical blueprint reading, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and fabrication techniques is essential. Experience with industrial equipment troubleshooting including CNC lathes, milling machines, stamping presses, or press brakes is a plus. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately using shop math skills and precision measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers. Comfortable working with hand tools and tooling used in deburring, finishing, or assembly processes. Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments along with factory experience involving materials handling and packaging procedures.
