CNC Cylindrical Grinder Operator Responsiblities:

Set up and operated Studer S33 CNC cylindrical grinding machines. Performed precision OD (Outside Diameter) and ID (Inside Diameter) grinding to blueprint specifications. Held close tolerances down to .0001" and maintained critical surface finish requirements. Read and interpreted blueprints, GD&T, and manufacturing work instructions. Changed, dressed, and balanced grinding wheels for various materials and applications. Set up centers, chucks, collets, mandrels, and steady rests. Used micrometers, bore gauges, indicators, calipers, and air gauges to inspect parts. Made program and offset adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy throughout production runs. Performed first article, in-process, and final inspections. Worked with aerospace materials including stainless steel, titanium, Inconel, Waspaloy, and hardened alloys. Maintained roundness, concentricity, cylindricity, and straightness requirements. Followed AS9100 quality standards and shop safety procedures.

Shift:

Mornings, Monday-Friday. Direct Hire role with established manufacturer of over 35 years.

Pay:

$30.00 per hour
