Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Conventional ID Grinder in Valencia CA. Candidate will be responsible for precision grinding of internal diameters (ID) on metal components using specialized grinding machines. Experience in mechanical blueprint interpretation, machine setup, and precision measurement will ensure the production of high-quality parts that meet strict specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machining tools and contribute to the manufacturing of critical components in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment. Duties Set up and operate I.D. grinders, along with other conventional grinding equipment. Grind aerospace landing-gear components made from high-strength steel, aluminum, and plated surfaces. Work to tight dimensional tolerances specified by shop planning, blueprints, and travelers. Inspect parts during and after grinding to make sure dimensions and surface requirements are met. Use precision measuring equipment such as: Micrometer, Dial bore gauges, Telescoping/ Height gauges, Indicators Identify different surface coatings, including chrome, nickel, cadmium, and thermal-sprayed surfaces. Deburr parts and break edges as required. Load, adjust, and set up grinding machines. Read and understand blueprints, shop travelers, sketches, and OHM/CMM documentation. Follow FAA repair-station, OSHA, environmental, and safety requirements. Conventional/manual grinding experience. Experience with

grinding. Ability to set up and adjust machines independently. Good understanding of precision measurements and tolerances. Ability to read engineering drawings and travelers. Experience machining or grinding steel and plated aerospace components. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain production schedules.
