Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Tool & Cutter Grinder to join our precision manufacturing team in Clearwater, FL. This is not a machine operator position. We are looking for a skilled craftsman with 10+ years of experience manufacturing, sharpening, reconditioning, and inspecting precision cutting tools used in CNC lathes and milling machines. The ideal candidate has extensive experience producing and maintaining precision cutting tools while consistently holding tight tolerances in a high-quality manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Grind, sharpen, and recondition carbide and high-speed steel cutting tools, including end mills, drills, reamers, and specialty tooling. Set up and operate manual and/or CNC tool & cutter grinding machines to manufacture and restore precision tooling. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, tool prints, and technical specifications. Inspect finished tools using precision measuring equipment to ensure compliance with exact dimensional tolerances. Troubleshoot tooling issues and make adjustments to improve tool performance and longevity. Maintain tooling quality standards while meeting production deadlines. Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with all safety procedures. Qualifications 10+ years of experience as a Tool & Cutter Grinder, Toolmaker, or similar precision tooling role. Extensive experience grinding precision cutting tools for CNC lathes, machining centers, and milling operations. Experience operating CNC or manual tool grinding equipment such as ANCA, Walter, Rollomatic, Star Cutter, Deckel, Saacke, Haas Multigrind, or comparable machines. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tooling drawings, and engineering specifications. Experience working with carbide and high-speed steel cutting tools. Proficient with precision measuring instruments including micrometers, dial indicators, comparators, gauges, and related inspection equipment.
